LancasterHistory offers a $2 discount from adult General Admission tickets if you purchase your tickets online! This speeds up your entry and gives you a discount at the same time. (Not valid for other ticket types, at the door, or over the phone sales.)

Members of LancasterHistory receive complimentary admission to the Stevens & Smith Center!

To receive your complimentary admission, active Members can purchase tickets online and their discount will be reflected in the cart at check out. Members can also purchase tickets at the door or over the phone. While admission is free to Members, we do recommend advance reservations to avoid disappointment.

Visitors who belong to an institution with NARM reciprocity receive complimentary General Admission to the Stevens & Smith Center and 10% off their Museum Store purchases.

We’re continuing Thaddeus Stevens’ legacy of education with the Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology by offering complimentary admission to enrolled students.

We accept valid SNAP EBT (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program Electronic Benefit Transfer) cards or WIC (Women, Infants, and Children) cards and a valid form of ID for free or reduced admission to the Stevens & Smith Center as part of our participation in the Museums for All Program.

To receive this special rate, visitors must present their EBT or WIC card and a valid form of ID upon check in at the Stevens & Smith Center. Our Museums for All rate is available during normal operating hours for up to four (4) individuals per EBT or WIC card, one of whom must be an adult 18 years or older. For more details, please consult the additional Terms & Conditions below.

The Museums for All rate is $3 per adult 18 years or older, and free for children 17 and under.

Terms & Conditions:

• Valid during regular hours of operation for General Admission. Not valid for other special, ticketed events or programs.
• Valid for up to four (4) individuals per EBT or WIC card, one of whom must be an adult 18 years or older.
• Does not apply to group tour rates.
• Can not be used in conjunction with other rates or discounts.
• We do accept SNAP EBT cards and WIC cards from other states beyond Pennsylvania.

What Is Museums for All?

Museums for All is a national, branded access program that encourages individuals of all backgrounds to visit museums regularly and build lifelong museum habits. It is open to participation by any type of museum and today has over 1,300 participating museums as part of the program. Museums for All is an initiative of the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS), a federal agency based in Washington, D.C.

LancasterHistory believes that everyone should be able to access, enjoy, and learn at museums. We want everyone, regardless of economic status, to feel welcome at our facilities. LancasterHistory cares deeply about the health and well-being of its visitors and will not tolerate discriminatory behavior that perpetuates stigma. Those found engaging in discriminatory behavior demeaning to others will be asked to leave the property and will not receive a refund for any purchases.

United States active-duty military personnel and veterans with a valid military ID receive discounted admission of $10 per person (50% off the adult ticket price). Guests accompanying the veteran or military member will be charged regular admission pricing.

Educators make learning possible! Continuing Thaddeus Stevens’ legacy and passion for education, we offer discounted General Admission for Lancaster County educators, whether private or public schools, grade school through college, for $10 with valid school ID (50% off the adult ticket price).
